Do I need an appointment?

You are very welcome to call in and talk to us about having a consultation at any time.
Appointments are one on one, so we definitely recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment!

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have a private parking space at the back of the boutique. Alternatively, there is free on street parking.

Where are you located?

We are located just over an hours drive north of Wellington, in the wedding hub of the Wairarapa, Martinborough!
33 Jellicoe Street, Martinborough, Wairarapa 5711.

Who do I bring with me?

We suggest that if you wish to bring an entourage to your appointment that they are your nearest and dearest. Too many opinions can be very confusing for the bride, and as we are a boutique store we do ask that no more than groups of 4, including the bride.

Do you hire your dresses?

No, our gowns are for purchase only.

Do you buy/sell second hand wedding dresses?

Sorry no, we only order our gowns new from our designers.

What price range are your dresses?

Our gowns start at around $1700.00 and go up to approx $4,000.00.
Bridesmaids dresses are priced $350-500.

I like a gown off your designers websites - can you get it?

​Yes, as we are stockists of our designers we can order any gown on your behalf, should you wish to purchase it. We are happy to offer you similar suggestions to see if the gown is truly what you love!

​What sizes are your sample bridal gowns to try on?

We do our best to accommodate as many beautiful body types as possible with our sample dresses. Our sample gowns to try on are a size 10-16, however most of our samples are a 12-14.
Our designers specialise in all sizes, ranging from a size 2-32.

We use pins and modesty panels for dresses that are on the small side and clips for dresses that are too big, in order to give you the best possible idea of what our dresses will fit like when they are tailored to you. We absolutely understand that this is a major shopping experience and it isn’t enjoyable for anyone if we don’t carry what you are looking for! If you have specific questions about your size concerns please get in touch with us!

What happens when I find 'the one'?

Congratulations, we are just as excited as you are! Once you have found the perfect dress for your big day, we will take measurements and work with you to determine the best size. A non refundable 50% deposit is then required to place any order, the balance of your gown is due once it has been made and delivered to the boutique.

How long do your gowns take to be made?

Timing is everything! The ideal time to buy your dress is 7-12 months before your wedding so make your appointment with the intention of finding the one!
Wedding in less than 6 months time? Don’t panic! All of our designers offer a rush order service to ensure you can have your dream gown in time for your special day!

Can you complete any alterations?

Yes, we offer an in house alteration service so once your gown has been delivered to the boutique we will tailor the gown to fit you perfectly! Custom alterations can be made to your chosen gown such as, beading added/removed, sleeves/straps/cap sleeves added, train shortened.
If its possible we will do it!

Our alterations are a set price of $275. This includes, any adjustments that may be needed altered to your gown such as; hem, taking in, straps shortening, bra cups, bustle for your reception.
When your gown is ready to be collected we will carefully package your gown in a complimentary bridal gown bag.

When will alterations to my gown begin?

As soon as your gorgeous gown arrives we will let you know so that we can schedule a time for your first fitting. We try and begin your alterations 2-3 months before your wedding. The last fitting is usually one week before the wedding just to check everything is perfect and ready for your big day!
